The Scenario: Steam Is the Corrugated Line's "Invisible Big Bill"
Corrugating needs high-temperature, high-pressure steam, and a mid-sized line consumes a substantial amount every day. Many plants have steam systems with leaks, condensate waste and pressure imbalance — money literally burning away.
The Pain Points: Three Sources of Steam-System Waste
- Condensate isn't recovered. After steam condenses into water it's drained away carrying large amounts of heat — wasting both energy and water.
- Leaks. Steam traps and pipe joints leak, letting steam quietly escape.

The Solution: Three Paths — Recovery, Reuse and Pressure Control
1. Condensate recovery. Recover the high-temperature condensate discharged from the corrugating rolls and preheaters, returning it to the boiler or using it for preheat make-up water, recovering large amounts of heat.
2. Traps and leak detection. Service steam traps regularly and hunt down pipe leaks to eliminate waste, so every bit of steam goes where it counts.
3. Precise pressure control. Control steam pressure precisely to process needs, avoid over-pressure waste, and keep corrugating roll temperature stable — balancing energy saving and quality.
